    Phoenix Arms LR 22

Know anything about this firearm? It's on sale at Turners for $139: http://www.turners.com/engage/displayads.php

Is Phoenix Arms a reliable company? Any Fail to Fire or Fail to Extract experiences with this model? What did you do to correct it? How much did you spend? How hard would it be to get parts for this firearm (specifically magazines and magazine springs)?

If I purchased this firearm, it would be for range shooting/collection only.

    The gun works good.
No fixes needed, but there are tweaks to remove the magazine disconnect safety...see u-tube.
Phoenix is here in CA and they have parts cheap, along with a strong warranty.
    Good, inexpensive plinker.

Great little pistol for the price. Mine has been 100% reliable so far, about 1000 down the pipe.
There are reports that the frame will crack using hyper speed .22 ammo- Stingers and such. Phoenix recommends standard velocity ammo.
Lifetime warranty and parts are no problem, I called them yesterday and ordered an extra mag, holster and recoil springs.
Of the cheap .22 pistols the HP22 has a pretty good reputation.

Of course it's not a Ruger, S&W, etc and you can buy one of those for only $100 or so more so if this will be your one and only .22 pistol you might want to consider something along those lines....
