I've been thinking of getting one and will get the Glock 6" 10mm barrel.

lone wolf 6 inch is a pretty popular one. it has normal lands and groove rifling for shooting lead cast ammo and better chamber support than the factory barrel. very affordable too.

the more I look into the G20 the better it looks, massive stopping power, no second guessing it will penetrate car doors, heavy jackets, leather vests and still have enough to stop a bad guy. It's not the lightest pistol but what I would mostly use it for, backpacking, hunting, HD and SHTF pistol it shouldn't be too much to carry in a good holster all day. While not ideal it could be used as bear defense pistol in a pinch, (you can't realistically say that about the other semi autos, 9,45,40) with a 6" barrel you can take medium size game, I am guessing out to 20-25 yards. Also in a SHTF situation it could throw some deadly lead downrange farther than the others, and it makes one hell of a psychological impact with that loud boom. I am going to do it, it will be a G20 and a 6" barrel. then on second thought let's say you move to a Free State you could get a suppressor, so imagine a 200 gr hardcast bullet flying silently at about 1000 fps, that would be perfect zombie medicine.

I went with the KKM 6" 'Hunting' barrel and I'm quite happy with it. My G20 still has the standard slide so I do get some double takes at the range when people see it. I only have a few hundred rounds through it but so far, no issues at all running a mix of Remington / Ultramax 180 gr jacketed FP's and also my Rainier 155 gr reloads - no lead yet. Accuracy seems to be good though I have some improvement to make.

Lone Wolf was another option at a lower price but I just went with the KKM. The primary reason I went with an aftermarket barrel was for the supported chamber. I found sizing the brass from a stock barrel a little more tedious during reloading. Good luck with whatever you choose.

BTW - purchased mine through Glockmeister, since I was ordering other stuff from them at the time.

I have (2) 6" Lone Wolf barrels, 10mm & 9x25 Dillon. Most will say that KKM is a much better quality barrel, but my LWD barrels are more accurate than I am so I'll never know the difference. I do know that you can't beat $100 shipped for a brand new barrel that feeds and shoots this good. LWD's customer service is top notch as well. I got my Blind-Marked 9x25 Dillon barrel for $114 shipped from American Gun Works.

FYI, Glock makes a factory 6" "hunting" barrel for the Glock 20. If you like OE parts than that's the way to go, but the aftermarket SS offerings may have slight advantages in accuracy and being able to shoot lead without any worries.

                I use a factory six-inch Glock 20 barrel in my Glock 20L:

I am very happy with it.

I decided on KKM for my 6" barrel because what i've read is they were very reputable. I also found some loads McNett uses with a KKM barrel so that also was a nudge in the right direction for me.

do all the factory parts drop right into that lonewolf slide?

Yes, including sights, barrels, and recoil assemblies.

Here are a couple more photos of it:

That is actually a very good looking LW slide, when I decide to purchase another handgun (8-12 months from now) I think it will be a G20, cant go wrong with 10mm firepower.
