    The SA GI's pretty base. The sights are very small and it's about as spartan as you can get. I think the SA milspec matches up with the Colt Govt. a little better. If you want a very close representation of a Military 1911, the GI would be great. If you want the general feel but a little more creature comfort, the Milspec or Colt Govt. would both be great choices. I'm partial to Colts myself, but it's your preference. Tough to go wrong either way.

        springer gi and mil specs don't have front serrations and no firing pin safety
