The SA GI's pretty base. The sights are very small and it's about as spartan as you can get. I think the SA milspec matches up with the Colt Govt. a little better. If you want a very close representation of a Military 1911, the GI would be great. If you want the general feel but a little more creature comfort, the Milspec or Colt Govt. would both be great choices. I'm partial to Colts myself, but it's your preference. Tough to go wrong either way.Jonah -
