    Browning 1911 specs?

    Hey all Im looking for a source of information on the venerable 1911. I see many new copies called "mil-spec" but I want to be able to verify that. Basically I need the blueprint for the original 1911, down to the smallest measurements. Ive thought about getting Kuhnhausen's book but Im not sure it would have things like frame rail width/height and the other minutiae I am looking for.

      Are you talking about Browning's original design, or the one that went into production based off the military's parameters?
