    Help finding 92fs mags

Looking for some 92fs 10 round mags.

Found some at Pro Mag for around $30. Anybody use them? Didn't have any reviews on their website.

Any place else out there that has good mags that operate properly and consistently while trying to keep the cost down. Looking at picking up arond 6 of them.

    Thanks.

Don't ever get Pro Mag when you have choice of Mec gar.

Thanks everybody. Especially paintballdad; that's exactly what I was looking for. The others up top had a review that the mags wouldn't drop out with the mag release. Deal breaker for me. These nickel ones from Beretta looks good. free shipping too...perfect.

            Just ordered 6. Thanks again.

OP, you made a good choice. Actually anything but ProMag tends to be a good choice. Enjoy your 92FS.

if you happen to run across some Beretta 96 10rd mags in your travels, you can use them in a pinch. they use the same mag bodies and seem to feed fine

quick question guys / are there differences between the mags for 92f and 92fs?

By the way, I have shot a few handguns with MecGar and Promag made magazines - by and large I try to only buy OEM or MecGars now.

those should be the same, the one's that are different were the ones for the 92 (frame mounted thumb safety, heel mounted mag release

                        Beretta 92F, 92FS, 92SB, M9, M9A1, 90-two, and 9mm Cx4 carbines will all use the same magazines.

I don't like ProMags - they feel kind of cheap in my opinion. My used Sig came with some Pro-Mags and the spring gets soft so quickly. I stay away from pro-mags. I also say get Mec-Gar. Out of all my mags for the 92fs - the mec-gar is the best quality and has never failed me.

no, i don't imagine anyone selling ProMag magazines would be posting reviews....

the Mec-Gars are good to go.

for good deals on the secondary market you can search the forum here on Calguns; they'll come up. i've bought many magazines on Gunbroker (internet auction) for my Sigs.

Agreed, I wont trust my life on a ProMag, I think Mec-Gar makes the finest, even better than Factory OEM. ProMag maybe best suitable for practicing malfunction clearing drills I will also stay away from the military contract Check-Mate magazines with phosphate coating.
