I'm currently looking into a Spike's Tactical/ RRA 9mm or .223 AR Pistol Lower to start building up my AR collection. I had a quick question regarding the legalities of the lower in regards to importing it into California. Does the pistol lower have to have the trigger assembly in it (to make it single shot prior to importation-I completely understand needing the bullet button, a 10 round mag and having a single shot sled for dros) or can I just get a stripped pistol lower along with a parts kit for my whole lower assembly separately? I just want to stay away from any illegal activity in doing so. I know AR Pistols are legal, and I've built my own CA Legal AR's prior to delving into the AR Pistol world.

The only way to get a pistol lower is by PPT or you can buy a complete AR pistol with a bb and sled.

Or do a %80 lower.

Thank you, I've been looking at the site extensively on AB-10s, AR Pistols, The Draco AK47 Pistol and the Sterling MK-7 Pistols. Figured I'd just throw out a line and someone would give the post a bite haha. Thanks for the info!
