Well everyone is ripping off each others heads in a gay-marriage debate lets actually debate on something related to firearms. I know we all love 1911s but would you consider this a good quality 1911 http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/47918-55.html

I know it's buy Taurus but it looks great and I've heard great things about Taurus 1911s. And because I'm not made of cash It would save me some moula if I were to buy this instead of a Kimber or SA. Thoughts?

i love mine , very accurate, good hand gun but its not on the list so leos only if out of state or find someone how has one here and ppt it

Damn that Taurus looks nice. Don't know anything about it but I'm also looking for a 1911 to keep my Colt company and was looking at an RIA Tactical. I hear that's the best for "ya dolla." At about $530 before taxes/dros and coming with everything like the Taurus it's definately on my to get list.

I've never seen someone so excited over a Taurus, much less a Taurus 1911.

I'm not excited i'm disappointed cuz I can't get it without going to annoying lengths to get it. Might as well waste my cash on getting a shinier legal one that functions the same.
