What is it?

Can someone let me know some information on this revolver. I have never seen or heard of it before. It has the heft of an S&W N frame and locks up solid.

"You don't find these very often. The was supposed to be a big technology break through in the early 1970s with the frame and barrel cast as a single piece of stainless steel and the barrel fitted with a rifled liner. Yours is the four inch, which seems to be the most common, although 2-1/2" barrel have been seen. The Pachmyer synthetic stocks are the same style found OEM on the pistol so it is probably original. The pistols worked well enough but the design was not considered to be attractive and the pistols were never a commercial success."

Thanks. I really appreciate the information about the unique manufacturing technology. I wasn't able google anything up on it before. BTW, mine is the 2 1/2 inch version not the 4".
