    P-90 Mag Spring

Hello Friends, I'm looking for a 7 round mag spring that will work with the plastic Mag follower. I have 3 stock mags and all 3 gouge the frame just below the feed ramp. I sent it back to Ruger and they did a file job on the frame but the problem still exists. THe plastic follower should cushion the frame. I'm not all that happy going from an 8 round mag to a 7 but if it saves the frame I can live with it. Midway has the follower but I can't find the spring. Again (I should have stated this earlier, Ruger P-90 .45) where can I find a 7round ruger mag spring?
We will do as we will do because I am me and you are you.

try using your 8 rd springs. is it marking the frame or is it damaging it? they make 10 round mags with plastic followers also I think midway has them, they work well.

I got mine from Midway. They sell the 7 rd springs & plastic followers.

EDIT: Hmmm... the 7 rd spring doesn't seem to be on the website. The package I have has 566210 030810. It's for a "P90D." That's the decocker only version and I have no idea why they'd list it that way. FWIW I tried cutting down a follower & spring. Bythe time the spring was short enough for 8 rds it wouldn't hold the bottom plate on when empty.

I had the exact same problem with my KP90.

I tell ya. Those 7 rd springs are some STOUT muthahs. You'll be needing that mag loader Ruger sent with the gun.
