    Ballistic Drop on 9mm

    How can I figure out the ballistic drop on my 9mm Glock 19 and Sig p226? I typically use 147 gr ammunition. I want to improve my 50 yard shooting and I'm not sure how much I need to compensate for the drop. Is there a good chart somewhere or formula I can use to calculate this?

    Have you considered using 115 gr. +P? You will have much less drop.

      I starting buying 147 gr for the Tactical Pistol Competitions at Chabot. I was told I would need the higher gr to knock down the steel targets at a distance. Is this not the case? I'm new to all this so any information would be helpful - thanks.

        There are plenty out there - google on ballistic caculator.

        To find out the specs on your ammo, go the the manufacturer's website, or to one who makes something similar, like here:
