My State issued handgun purchase permission slip (HSC) is about to expire and I'm getting the itch to add to my collection. I want another .40S&W pistol. At first I was looking at the Beretta PX4. I like Berettas but its a bit more than I want to spend right now. Cool piece though.
Then I saw a Ruger P944 in all black; never really liked the two-tone much. Decent price and USA made. All metal too.
I currently own a P95. I like the soft recoil feel of it, and although the trigger has a bit more play than I like, the accuracy of this gun makes up for it. My question is this, Does the P944 shoot and handle about the same? I see that they both have the same tiny 3-dot sights. I know I should rent one first but the range I was at doesn't let you rent a gun if your alone. Next time I go with my friends I'll try one for myself. In the mean time any opinions or comparisons to my P95 would be appreciated.
