SA 1911 Mil Spec Operator Question

I Just recently purchased a SA Mil Spec Operator (full rail) and cannot decide whether I should leave it as is or customize it. I know they don't make this model anymore, so part of me wants to keep it as is, but has anyone had problems with this model or issues such that upgrading parts would help?

Also, does anyone know where to find a holster for this gun? While I love the full rail, its not making it easy to find a good holster.
