    30 days between gun purchases

When you buy a handgun when does the 30 days between handgun purchases begin, when you do the DROS? or when you pick it up? I know this has probably been asked, but I searched and couldn't find. Thanks

It's just better to buy consignment and PPT's and buy as many as you can as fast as you can before your credit card melts...

Forget hours or minutes, CA DOJ has it down to the second. You are free to DROS your next handgun the second after the previous DROS has expired.

This one new handgun per thirty days law has to be one of the biggest shams the Ca legislature has burdened gun owners with. Seperate DROS fees when purchasing a long gun and handgun from the same shop is another side effect of this bull**** infringement!

I hate the 30 day new gun wait as well, but in some ways it helps me from not draining my bank account....that fast at least.

Yes you can buy and or transfer as many long guns and as many PPT handguns as you want day in and day out.

your only restriction is handgun's you buy from a FFL directly or have shipped to any FFL. IE Handgun purchases that are not PPT.

                    Sorry for the hijack here..

So I assume this applies to OLLs? I bought a complete AR a couple weeks ago, and I can order an OLL immediately?

Doesn't the COE allow you to purchase as many handguns as you would like in a 30 day period?

Excellent. I have a feeling that Black Rifle Disease is waaay more potent than Ruffles and French Onion Dip Disease, and I have the latter pretty bad.

So, if you PPT don't you have to FTF at a FFL and run the DROS? If that is the case, wouldn't the 30 day hate period still apply?

PPT's and consignment handguns are NOT effected by the 30 day limit.
