Sorry, I know this topic has been discussed too many times. I used the search function, but was unable to find the info I need without searching through 100 pages worth of threads. My question is in regards as to when the 30 day wait period starts. I purchased a new pistol on 7/19/10, I just looked at my paperwork from my previous pistol purchase, and that DROS was started on 6/09/10, and the pick-up date was 6/19/10. So basically, it was 40 days from DROS to DROS, and 30 days from pick up to purchase of my new pistol. Am I in the clear? I wish I had looked at my paperwork earlier, I would've waited one more day just to be sure. Thanks guys.

240 hours from the time they put on the DROS. Assuming their open when that time comes.

Respectfully submitted, that was not the OP's question.
The OP wants to know how the clock works for the 1 in 30 rule -- which is from the time the first DROS starts to the time the next DROS starts... must be greater than 30 days. Can be on the 30th day if after the time of the first DROS. (so, 720 hours)
BTW Donkeypunch0420, I believe the DROS software would reject a second handgun DROS if too soon and there were no exemption code such as for a PPT or a person having both a C&R + COE.Life Member NRA and 2A Foundation.

Glad you brought it up. I did a search a too and to my luck, ran into this at the front page. I was also curious if it started the day of DROS or after the 10 day period.
So after I pick up my new 2022 today.. only 20 more days until I get my P226 DROSd.
