    ruger p90 or p345 ?

    hey everyone im recently joined the forum here and i had to see what others thought. im looking to purchase my second handgun my first is ( springfield xd9) and i have been looking around and i like the ruger p90 and p345 i want a .45 cal since i already have a 9mm im kinda torn between the 2 rugers ive looked on there website and i cant decide they are about the same price does any have any advice which is better or are they about the same thanks

      Both are good guns. The big difference is the grip. The 345 is a little slimmer than the 95 so if you need or a smaller grip the 345 would be good for you. But on the other hand if you like the 345 more and needed more grip you can always can put a slip on hogue with finger groves to fatten it up. Best thing to do would be find a GS or range to handle both and hopefully shoot both to see which one you would prefer. Also check out Rugerforum.com great place to go for Ruger info. Redhemi

        ya thanks i actually went to a GS this weekend and looked at both of them i like the grip on the p345 but i like that the frame on the p90 is aluminum rather than composite feels better IMO im leaning towards the p90

          I have a p345, had malfunctions with it originally, then had to polish the feed ramps to make it function right. No problems since then, although i havnt fired it much since i got my 1911
