    To get a Sig E2?

I have a Sig Mosquito and P6. The Sig 226 and Sig 2022 are too large. How can I get a Sig E2 in California? My only relative out of state is my youngest brother in Texas. I researched the various Sig, but feel buying anything other than the Sug E2 would be an unhappy compromise. I'm 3 months new to gun ownership so any advice woulg greatly be appreciated.

I'm very interesting with E2 frame/grip too. It seems to be a great choice for small hand shooter like me.
I apologize ahead, when I'm tire/sleepy, my 3rd world English will sneak out.

Hey, just a heads up seeing how the E2 has the possibility of never being approved. Check out TopGunSupply.com and they sell the new styled SP2022 with the new grips. The new grips are very similar to the E2 grips found on the P-Series. Other changes include an external extractor, internal lanyard loop, and alum alloy trigger.

Admittedly I'm probably a larger handed shooter, but the grip definitely feels better for me even though its smaller than the big and medium grips.

On a side note.. I would buy an E2 P226 in a heartbeat if it became CA legal.. especially so if they had one in all stainless finish.

if you're impatient...and assuming that you're impatient and your parents are alive and live in CA...the easiest way would be for your brother to buy the gun and gift it to one of your parent who would than gift it to you.

with a bit more patience, you could get the short trigger now and wait for the E2 grip and mainspring guide/spring combo to become available on the aftermarket

Don't forget the SRT (Short Reset) too.

I think his better option is the double gifting transfer.

Ok...I love the double transfer... From brother to dad to me. Does the transfer to my dad from my brother have to be face-to-face in Texas or California? And what us the waiting period per transfer? For example, how long do I have to wait for my dad to gift it to me after receiving dad receives from my brother?

Thanks for recommendation and I have thought of getting a Sig Pro 2022, but I'd feel like compromising. From the beginning...I've wanted the E2. Having 3 Sigs and they still don't match up to the E2 just irks me.

Thanks again for the advice. Fortunately, my brother is visiting California soon. Can my brother buy the gun and do an FFL interfamilisl transfer without him being present when my dad picks up the E2 gift?

another one off those what's easiest questions

if your bother buys it and is coming to CA anyway, it would be easiest if he just brings it to transfer to your dad while he is here. check out the FFL you're planning on using before hand to be sure they know how to do, and are willing to do, a inter-familial transfer. your brother does not have to be there when your father picks it up after the 10-day wait.

i'm not sure about the waiting period between transfers...maybe someone will come along who knows for sure
