Glock 21sf or XD9sc?

So I'm thinking about selling/ trading off one of these ...
I prefer Glocks to XD's... The XD sees more range time oddly enough as 45acp costs more and is harder to come by ... The 21sf is the only 45 I have ... which one should I try and find a new home for in your opinion? Also which would fair better in the marketplace?

the 21sf will undoubtedly sell faster and command a higher resale value than the xd9sc

The Glock can be bought new for under $500 and the XDsc can be had for about $460 also new with XD holster and mag case. Add tax and transfer fee. So you wont get too much for them used. I'd hold on to them.

I know what you mean... if i were to get rid of one ... i think i'd go the trade route ... but i doubt I'd find a trade ... I'd want something like a 92fs, MP9c, or something made by HK or Sig... would consider another glock but I have a few already...
I'm thinkin of making a wtt thread for the XDsc9 OD ... and see what happens ...

A fair price for a used Glock 21 is $500. In my area new ones go for about $575-$595 + tax and dros.

I would sell the G21 and keep the XD9 sub-compact.

Here is my advice about handguns...

#1. If you are going to have one handgun in 45acp it might as well be a 1911. You can change parts on a 1911 to get it to fit just about any size hand and they are just so bloody cool that no other 45 comes close. Basically, I'm saying get rid of the G21 and when you have the cash buy yourself a nice Colt 1911.

#2. Everyone wants handguns in 9mm these days. Ammo is the cheapest and therefore it's the most practical to own and shoot which means you will enjoy owning it. Your XD9 Sub-Compact would sell quickly in my area which is why I'd hang on to it at least until after you sell your G21. Take the cash from the G21 sale and sell or trade the XD for something in 9mm that you really like.

#3. EVERYONE should own at least one CZ 75 9mm pistol. Trust me on this one! If I was forced to own just one handgun it would be my CZ P-01 with the Kadet 22LR conversion kit. Thousands of rounds fired thru it in both 9mm and 22 LR and it just keeps on impressing anyone who shoots it.
