    Refinish my HK USPc

I had just acquired an Hk USPc from a fellow calgunner. She has holster wear. I am wondering if there is a local place I can go to to get her refinished. I heard about CCR and other places that can do terrific jobs, but I am looking for someone local. I am from the BayArea, East bay to be exact. Any input will be appreciated. I know there are lots of you out there have WAY more experience than I do since I am a novice, so voice you opinions. Thanks fellows.

    Slide refinishing

Since you would only have to send the slide of a USP for refinishing (the polymer frame can't be refinished), the shipment is relatively easy compared to shipping a complete gun. The slide by itself is not a "gun" and is only a part, hence it doesn't require special handling by UPS at extra cost. Personally I would ship it to CCR in Tennessee because they do good work.

I have never used him, but his work looks impressive. I think others on the board have used him. Also he's local (Walnut Creek).
