    Finally Got to Shoot

After almost 4 months I finally got to shoot again. Just testing out some loads for my Sig GSR TTT, Glock 35 w/ LW 40-9 barrel and my Para/STI Limited class gun. I didn't do too good today, I was actually fighting a minor flinch. I feel the Sig TTT can do much better than what I can muster today. I did have one failure to feed due to the sharp edges of the SWC load, I seated the shoulder to the rim and I had 3 rounds caught the edge of the barrel hood. Shot at United Sportsmen Inc. in Concord, all shooting done at 25 yards. Let me know what you think.

it looks decent? i know i can't do that tight of a grouping at 25 yards yet with a handgun. (doesn't help that i don't have my own and only shot rentals twice)

That is good shooting dude. you are at about the same level I am right now. It's hard to progress when you cant afford the time or money to get out and practice

That top target looks pretty amazing for 25 yards, IMO.

EDIT: I just saw the note on the target that it was bench rested for the top target. But the 2nd and 3rd targets still look pretty good to me for 25 yards.

I can usually get 4 out of 5 rounds in a 5.5" target at 20 yards with my XD .40 5" with factory sights.

At 20+ yards, the target is just a tiny, fuzzy, gray smudge, so I feel like I'm guessing with my aim half the time.

I need to get a few lessons on how to aim better at those distances.

I went shooting yesterday and I was surprised how my GSR is starting to settle in, I got this off hand 8 shot group at 25 yards with out much work.

The GP-100 wasn't bad either with 3 cylinder full. Not the most accurate load, but they are great for steel shooting.

Oh...go ahead...make me feel bad why dontcha?

              Nice shooting.

As I've aged a slight tremble in my right hand (only apparent when i am trying to hold on a target) plays hell with my mediocre shooting skills.

              Well done sir!

Thanks! I usually read the good advises offered in our forums then build up on them. I hope on my next practice session that I can put them all in the 10 ring. The gun seems like it's capable in doing it. I may just install that grip/scope mount and mount a 4x pistol scope to check how accurate this gun is.

Nice job. If you can shoot a .357 offhand in DA at 25 yards like that, you're golden.

Thanking all for the nice comments.

Actually, the pistols I was shooting are capable of better accuracy and I would like to strive to have all my shots in the 10 ring. I know I can do it with the GP100, I used to do it all the time when I was younger and didn't wear glasses. Hopefully I'll get some range time soon and will try to shoot some groups with a couple of 357 mag revolvers.
