    Wilson Combat Professional

Ok...I'm moving back to California from Utah..and I really want a lightweight Wilson Professional. The problem is there are only two Professionals on California's dumb DOJ Cert List, and neither of them specify lightweight frames. I'm wondering if I should buy it now....or just buy a standard professional in California..?

Are there any other pistols I should consider bringing with me?

If there is any handgun you want that is not on the CA list, its probably best to get it before you move here.

      There's nothing particular I want right now...except for the HK45 and HK45c.

The handgun you bring back to CA doesn't need to be on the cert list. I'm sure if you bring enough pistols into CA that aren't on the cert list and sell them to buyers, you can make enough money to pay for the Kimber you want altogether.

I have no desire to own a kimber. I want the Professional for carry, and the lightweight frame isn't available in Cali...and it's about $2500 for the Professional!

Don't forget that there are some restrcitions on handguns

like no threaded barrel in semi-auto
no magzine over 10 rounders, no magazine outside pitol grip. etc

There maybe more but that's all I know.

Don't forget there are high demand stuff like STI frames, which is not on DOJ list.
You can bring in STI and then sell it later to make modest profit when you need it.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

You can bring in any handgun not on the safe list as long as it complies with state law (i.e. isn't an AW). Bring in some high demand items and you can probably make a pretty good profit.
