Cz82 issue....

While firing my Cz82 for the first time today I came across a rather annoying issue. My Cz randomly puts itself on safe (but the safety lever itself doesn't move up) and I have to engage and then disengage the safety lever to shoot again, or just pull the trigger a half dozen times. Any hints? I've just field stripped and cleaned it hoping that will help out. BTW it came pretty darn clean from J and G sales.

When you say "on safe", do you mean the trigger pulls without cocking the hammer back? If so it is likely the disconnector (small beveled thing that sticks up on the right hand side into a cutout in the slide) This are pushed up by the trigger bar, but it can stick down causing the problem you describe. A good clean and lube should fix it.

If the trigger locks and doesn't pull (like the action when the safety is applied manually) it is something else and I'm not really sure what.
