    Are you a CA resident?
    Is your dad a CA resident?
    How old are you?
    Do you have a HSC?

      Heh this was answered of one of my posts about the same thing I'm 18 and wanted to get my parents to xfer me either a glock 22 or a 1911. http://www.ag.ca.gov/firearms/forms/pdf/oplaw.pdf fill out this form follow directions blah blah bureaucratic BS.

        If his parent is a resident of another state, that form won't work (it be illegal under Federal laws).

        Hence, the reason for the OP to post more information (see my first post in this thread).

              correct, fill that out and mail it in with $19 dollars. mine went through in about 2 weeks I got a letter back from DOJ with papers in my name. to simple. no hsc or anything needed just age min 18 and DL/ID # and gun info and your gold.

                    almost 100% sure he means intra-familial people say inter because they always hear terms like inter-state commerce and inter-racial marriage. Nobody ever hears intra.
