    New G23C. Fired 150 rounds of Federal 180gr. Look at the highlighted area. It looks like a bit more surface is taken off than the rest of the barrel. Looks shiny like the black coating was removed. The uneven wear only covers about 25% if the barrel tip. Sorry if the pics aren't clear I had to use my cell phone.

    Can you Glock guys take a look at yours. Especially if you have a 23C. Thank you!

    try cleaning it, that looks like caked on carbon deposits

      Just clean your gun and the barrel will look like new again. It looks like lead or powder residue that needs to be cleaned off.

          Thank you guys! I feel like an idiot. I was about to write that i already did that, but i decided to give it another go. This time with a copper brush instead of the plastic one that came with the G23. Well it came off! Once again, thanks!
