Colt King Cobra

I am thinking of picking one of these up, for what seems like a good price.

It is a 4" SS, with very minor holster wear, very minor.
Extremely clean wheel gun, the biggest issue I can find, is one of the screws is a little chewed up, but I assume I can get another one from Colt?


What is the going rate on these bad boys?

Anything I should be aware of?

There was one for sale here at calguns not long ago. I think he was asking around $1000 had box and all paperwork.

I dont think I would even consider selling mine for less then $850.00 (no box or paperwork) They are a good hefty .357, fun to shoot, great big ball of fire coming out of the muzzle.

As long as it doesn't have any other cosmetic or mechanical/shooting problems aside from the bad screw head it seems like a good deal.

That's a good deal if you ask me..great find.

Yeah, Colt should be able to help you with the screw..they won't sell it direct to you though. You can ship it to them for inspection..which is $55, they'll look it over and make sure it's in spec, do a test fire and you can ask them to address it then. They have spares but only for repairs..no direct part sales.
