    Symbol on Glock

I'm curious as to some markings on my gun. This is really nothing important, but I figured my curiosity needed to be satisfied, so here it goes....... I was taking apart my Glock 37 and I noticed a pentagon symbol on my Glock 37. It is located just to the right of the "Glock" icon. Any ideas on what this symbol represents?

That your barrel has pentagonal rifling. Don't use unplated lead bullets.

I am currently using Magtech JHP...I believe they are brass/plated and Eagle 230gr FMJ practice rounds.

Strange, mine doesn't have the symbol......

You must be the Chosen One. j/k

Glock 37 have octagonal rifling not pentagonal.
The bullets with my name on it I'm not worried about, it's the "To whom it may concern" ones I'm worried about.

Interesting, I don't believe I've seen one with pentagonal rifling. Would you happen to have a picture you could upload?

I think polygonal is the easiest word to use. It doesn't really matter how many "lands" and "grooves" are present.
