Really nice little pistol. In fact there's mine in my avatar
One thing I like about it is we can buy it with the same mag capacity as everyone else. Kind of a stupid reason to like something, but I'll admit it.

I have preban mags which of course work in the 26, so that's also a plus. But usually when I shoot it I just use the mags made for it.

I like the fact that it doesn't have a light rail. I think it looks better without one.

Really solid little gun. Feels more solid than the rest of the glocks to me.

I think I read it's the 2nd most popular selling glock.

shot one first then youll really like it! lol, i just bought my first glock 2 days ago, and its a G26 too. very accurate and fells great. im already looking for accessories for it. look up thread ( quick glock questions ). it should still be on the 1st page here. and yeah ammo will be sooooo much cheaper then 45acp. think my 1911 might go hungry for a little while. you can also get .22lr conversion for there G26's. mine came with night sights

I sold my old one only to buy one again in OD. Won't part with the G26 again, looking to procure another one soon.

My Glock 27 (same gun, but in .40 S&W) is one of my favorite guns. I personally think the larger glocks look rather awkward and ugly, but the subcompacts have a great look to them. Also, the way the gun fits my hand is better than most other plastic pistols I've shot.

Plus, the gun looks just plain awesome with an old High-cap magazine .

I use a G26 as my carry gun. I am not limited in funds or choices on what I can carry.
My wife had any choice for her carry gun and shot almost every popular flavor from .380 to .45.
Now we have 2 G26's in the family.

Bought a glock23 a while back, shot a glock 26 now i wish i had bought the 26 instead. I agree it feels more solid, and to my small hands the hump ends up where it should.

Outstanding pistol. Very accurate for its size. Extremely reliable. You can use 17rnd ad 33rnd rebuilds. Very good for ccw. Last you a lifetime or more.

I carry a 26 at work, it's light, compact and my reload is a 17+5.
