Sig Sauer short reset trigger mod

Has anyone had any experience with the short reset trigger job done by Sig. Can you really tell a difference when rapid shooting or when just plinking.

You can do it yourself. I did. Get the kit from OMB Express and PM me if you have questions.

Besides the short reset, did you know any difference in the actual pull? Did it become more/less gritty?

                Thanks

no, the SRT does not lighten the trigger pull, it also does not eliminate the creep or over travel.

if you want the trigger to be less gritty, you will have to polish the sear/hammer, hammer/ sear/ safety lever to frame, trigger bar to sear, and trigger bar to trigger interfaces.

the stock setup for the sig have the trigger bar actuate the safety lever, then the safety lever actuate the sear.

the SRT setup have the trigger directly actuating the sear, and the sear actuating the safety lever. the point contact where the safety lever interface w/ the trigger bar is higher for stock than the SRT. that interface point is where the 60% trigger reset reduction comes from.

One of the SRT sears on that website is sold out but the other is in stock. Are they the same?
