    Glock 37

What do you guys think of the Glock 37 in 45 GAP. I was at Turners this weekend and held it in my SM/MED hands and felt real good. Never owned a Glock or 45 but figured for the sale price of 399 this may be a good time to scratch the itch. Primary use would be HD. I really don't care too much about ballistics yada yada other than the fact that its a big arse bullet and if I'm only limited to ten they may as well be a big ten in my small hands. Current HD pistol is a 9mm. Is the 45 GAP round easily found and will it be around in future years etc... Thoughts?

    Personally I'd go with a 21SF.

I think the 45GAP is an interesting round, but it's also a little hard to find... short of buying it online.

The G36 in .45ACP suits me just fine.

      It's too late, it's over.

I own a G37 and bought it because; 1. It's a .45 in a 9mm (G17) frame so it fits my hand much better than the G21 series. 2. I read somewhere this week that the Florida HP just ordered a boat load of GAP's so they're going to be around for awhile. 3. I'ver personally had no problems finding ammo. For the time being you can order it online at good prices. Bottom line, I give the G37 two thumbs up!
A good rifle build isn't cheap, but a bad one can be expensive!

I have a G38 and I am quite fond of it. I never saw the need for the .45GAP until I actually fired a Glock in .45GAP. Now I'm planning on buying a G37 to go with my G38. It is a soft shooting and very accurate round in the Glocks.

I'm still rooting for this caliber to get more support, IMHO it makes more sense than .40 s&w (please don't start flaming me, just my opinion). From what I've read there are a few PDs that use it, so maybe there still a future for it, but judging from the current Glock GAP prices, it looks kinda bleak.

Wow, I'm shocked to see all this GAP support on Calguns. Normally these .45 GAP threads turn into one big Anti-GAP circle jerk.

I also own a G37 in .45 GAP and I've been very pleased with it. Like Exiledviking, I did not understand all the hype behind .45 GAP until I actually tried one. It's fantastic.

I have shot A Glock GAP and it was a great performing gun. Seems like Turners are trying to get rid of their supply at the price they sell it for.

I'd buy one if I didn't have a gun in 45ACP. It would be hell trying to sort two different but very similar 45 cases.
