What Would Be YOUR Perfect CCW Gun?

IF, you were able to get a CCW Permit, what would be YOUR main carry gun?

First thing would be a gun, I can shoot well. Then I would look for comfort. Then at least a 9mm or 38.

I thought about a G19, but would like a single stack.

Thought about a P6/P225, but have heard bad things about the trigger. SIG P239?

Browning HiPower, except it is Single Action.

    Colt Detective Special ?

    Maybe an H&K P7M8/PSP ?

That would be very nice or a single stack .357 sig in a glock. I really do however like my glock 26 . I have tried several different guns on trial runs on private property started with a glock 17 and ended with a 26. I'm just not big enough to conceal a 19 very well. I'm 5'7 and about 150 right now so the glock 26 is about the smallest gun I would feel comfortable having in my hands and not feel undergunned at all. It conceals well and will be even better when I get my supertuck.

Used to have a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II but I needed some cash so I sold it recently. But that was about the perfect carry gun imo. It was a 3" 1911 with Crimson Trace grips. Short, slim, lightweight and 7+1 or 8+1 rounds of .45. Not to mention the nice crisp single action trigger. Wasn't all that pleasant to shoot at the range after about 100 rounds or so, but it was a great gun for what it was intended. I only sold it because I needed the money but if I end up someplace where I can get a CCW then I will most likely buy another one, or something similar.

Of the guns I have tried, probably a Glock 23 or 19 inside a galco royal guard iwb holster.

I dont have one yet, but a SR9C looks like a good choice.

You'd lose the magazine interchangeability by going single stack... but at the same time with a slimmer grip, frame, and slide... you'd have a damn nice concealment gun. Conceal-ability combined with Glock's reliability... sounds pretty damn nice to me. G26 is still a nice gun don't get me wrong.

The Glock is a great gun but it's a lil fat for CCW. I'm waiting for Glock to come out with a slim single stack 9mm/40sw/357sig too but until then, I have a Kahr. The Kahr PM9 is nice.

But don't CCW permit holders get up to 3 handguns? Something really small and lightweight, like the KelTec P32/P3AT or Ruger LCP, would disappear under any clothing.

Can't go wrong with a airweight revolver either. It may not be fun to shoot, but it's easy to carry, and it'll go bang everytime.
