I shot one at Rahague's (sp) in Norco during the annual shooting fair. I also have a commander bobtail. Great fit on the frame and slide..some small parts may need to be tuned or replaced due to cheapness (newer ones are better). They got it right where it counts.

I will say that DW match bbl's are reall picky on ammo and OAL. Some people have been throating/ reaming the chamber to cure that. I would buy one if I could find on in San Diego Co. Actually, I'd trade my cbob for one if the opportunity presented itself.

You may want to hit the sarch button - the DWs must be popular as lots of folks are asking about them. I have the CZ manufactured Bobtail & their PM7 and think they're about the best value on the 1911 market. They are a bit picky on cartridge dimensions, must be a very tight chamber.

they don't like long bullets with a fat profile (ogive shape I think it is called). recent lots fiocchi are an example of a brand that caused jammed up fits on mine. so bad that I had to stick the front sight on something hard and push weight against it to get it to cycle out.

I'm gonna get mine reamed so the rifling doesn't engage the bullet before it has a chance to chamber 100 percent. The firing pin on series 70's can still be released .050"+ out of battery.
