    .45 GAP

Turners is having a sale of the Glock in .45GAP. Anyone have hands-on experience with this caliber? Seems like ammo can be had for approx 60c per rounds for plinking.

Also if I remember correctly, the G37 is more compact that the Glock21.

Think G17 sized pistol and you have the G37. Although I handled a G21SF and it bridged the gap nicely.

I have the G37 and is actually a nice handgun. The only downside is trying to find ammo for it which is not readily available except online.

The since of the G37 is comparable to the G17

Oh really? In what way does the .45 GAP fail at its intended purpose?

Depends on how many plinks you want. At 60 cents each, I wouldn't plink much.

GAP.........big hole, short cartridge. Not a failure, but an answer to a question not asked.

45 GAP is a round I would have liked to see succeed. The full size and compact 9/40/357 is one of my favorite all around pistols. One in 45 into such a small package was enticing.

However, what killed it? Lack of ammo and price. If it was more in line of .45 ACP I would have definitely owned a G37 and G38.

JMHO, but the G19/23/32/38 is THE ideal size for concealed carry pistols. A 45 Glock that didn't look like a colonoscopy bag underneath a t-shirt was a huge plus. I hate the G29/G30 compact pistols.

yes ammo is not always available but the round is easy to handle and is accurate for HD or CCW, I have the Springfield model and like it a lot.
