    Sig p238

I got my guns and ammo mag and saw a sweet looking sig p238 with the rainbow finish. I would like to get one of those, but do you guys know if this is approved in cali?

No P238 is on the approved roster.

Is there a specific reason that you know of other than being cause of crappy cali crap law?

Sig would have to pay money (per color choice) for each type of gun on the market.

If they were to put a 238 on the roster it would probably be the one they make in the greatest numbers... so simple and black.

Also the gun would need a loaded chamber indicator, which I think isn't on the 238.

The SIG P238 needs a magazine disconnect and a CA DOJ approved loaded chamber indicator, in order to qualify for submission to be tested/placed on the approved list.

I have recently traveled the two coasts by car. I can tell you that the gun stores get all the P238's they can and they sell almost immediately. I cannot see Sig jumping through Ca.'s hoops to sell what they cannot yet produce.

My P238 is the best small pistol I have yet owned. I traded my Seecamp for it.

Rumor has it that sig has made a 238 that should become Cali approved.

Yeah, I'd buy that argument except that the only P250 that is on the ROSTER is the two-tone P250 Compact 9 mm--while the all black full-size, compact, and sub-compact are not.

PPT? Does that stand for Private party transfer?
wish I knew someone that can do it.
