A friend of mine just lost the screw of his Taurus 651 38 spl, thumb piece (cylinder release button). I was wondering if anyone here knows what thread size the screw is so I can just modify one from ACE. I tried a 4-40 machine screw and it starts to go in but stops at about 2 turns leaving me to think that it might be a 4-48, which is not a common screw size to find. Any help will be appreciated.
