M&P slide scrapes frame

I just checked my M&P 40 full size and it does have the little bit of material on that area of the slide, as well as the mark on the frame.
I can't see it as a real "issue" since it does not contact any structural area of the frame, nor have I experienced any reliability problems with the pistol. -
This video is obviosly the work of a non shooter with serious OCD issues. Guns are tools. Tools wear.Comment

I just got mine the other day and noticed it had it after seeing this video and was curious as to if it ever became a problem on any of yours with high round counts. That was my reason for posting. I fired 100 rounds today with absolutely no problems whatsoever and the scratch is still just barely enough to catch a fingernail on so i think it's as big as it will ever get. Thanks to all who contributedComment

my M&P 45 has it but my M&P 9 does not. Vintage arms is right , that guns do wear and the M&P rail is fairly flimsy so if you put your thumb on any part of the rail i can see how it happens. He just needs to quit douche and enjoy his gun , it wasnt designed to remain cosmetically perfect at all times. Oh and if you look at his gun he has the wear on the slide behind the spring that i tried to point out in other threadsComment
