.22lr conversion on Sig P226 Navy

Is it ok to use the factory kit on a P226 Navy in 9mm? I heard they are hard to find. Anybody know who to ask?

I don't see why a .22lr wouldn't fit the 226 Navy. The only real difference in the Navy would be the phosphated internals but other than that and the symbol, they are identical to the 226 in .40 and 9mm.

TGS is out of stock I believe but if you are a member of sigforum, I saw a couple of used ones for sale from the members there. (.22lr kits)

So are all manufacturer .22 conversion legal to buy? I see ones for 1911s, CZs, Sigs, not sure if there are others. Do you have to go through an FFL? Or do i have to shelve that along with all the other things i have wanted but found out i couldn't because of the state i live in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Camacho u sure like exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nah u dont need to go through ffl. Only recievers (lowers) and certain nfa items etc go through ffls for processing. Barrels magazines slides and grips etc are just "standard"

Next question is do they function well and worth the money? Are they picky on ammo like other .22 pistols that look like bigger caliber pistols like the Mosquito, and P22? Sorry about the !!!!!!!!!! i am just jealous of what other American states can have and i can't.

I have 3,000rds+ through my P226 conversion kit. Functions fine but does need regular cleaning. I run Federal bulk through it with no issues.

I do have the Sig conversion kits in stock fro all models as well as extra mags. Please PM me if interested.
