WalMart, American Canyon, .40S&W $0.28/round

Just stopped by the Super WalMart in American Canyon (just north of Vallejo), and they are well stocked on handgun ammo. TONS of .40S&W, a good assortment.

I asked for the cheapest .40S&W, and he handed me a box (50 rounds) of Federal 180g FMJ FN. $13.97 + tax.

Didn't look for other calibers or prices. But the shelves were FULL, no empty spots. Not full of shotgun ammo either.

Guy said he expects it to be empty by Saturday.

I just got two boxes of WWB from the local walmart...

glad my local range gives me all the .40 brass i want
So for me it comes down to $0.19 a round (180gr JHP)
.....OR if I choose to reload Lead bullets (cheaper)
I can bring it down to $0.12/round

Man I'm so glad I spent my tax refund on a reloading kit
But seriously, walmart is the only place to buy your ammo for cheap, so stock up
