The LEM trigger (Law Enforcement Modification) is basically a DAO trigger with a lighter pull. You can configure it to a variety of pull weights depending on the springs you use. I think the lightest is 5.5 pounds. The match trigger is the same as a Variant 1 - it's a double action/single action. The difference is that it's just upgraded - there's less creep and it has a cleaner break. You can retain the safety/docker on a match trigger. You can keep the safety if you go with the LEM if you so choose.

IMO, if you're not going to do it yourself, send the pistol back to HK to do the work.
