lc action deals in the bay area.

1- sign up for gssf membership (faxing in the form is the fastest way)
      2- wait for membership packet
3- go to LC action with membership card and buy

          Glock 17C, 19C, 22C, 23C, 31C & 32C = $449
          Glock 20, 20SF, 21, 21SF, 29, 29SF, 30 & 30SF = $491
          Glock 20C & 21C = $535

            So, to clarify...
I pay the $35 membership fee to GSSF... get my membership card... Find a participating dealer... and then get to purchase a Glock 19 for $420 instead of $569? that is awesome if that is how it works...

Yes, after you join call Glock to see if there are other new dealers in the Bay Area. LC Action used to be the only one under the old program. But they raised the prices to allow more dealers to be apart of the program and for more members to be able to purchase them.

If you happen to be in LE, Fire/EMS, or Military you can get the Homeland security pricing which is the same as the GSSF, And you can make a purchase every 30 days.

Does GSSF have a program down here in SD? This is a sweet deal.

Took me about ten days from when I faxed my application to receive my membership card. Be sure to check out the GSSF forum over at glocktalk.com. There is a lot of good info there on the membership process, including current turn-around times, and the new pistol purchase program. If you have a convenient dealer, the GSSF pistol purchase program is a great opportunity.

I just picked up my gun from LC Action yesterday. Buying from them is pretty painless, go in, tell them what you want, show them your GSSF card and fill out the paperwork. They were out of 10 round magazines when I purchased my G17 at the end of April so had to wait until yesterday to pick mine up.

I believe when I was buying, I overheard one of the employees saying they have a sale every August/Sept or so. There's a slight discount, but they throw in some freebies. I didn't hear what she meant by that.

Is there anything else with this membership besides purchasing a glock once a year at a discounted price? Or is it just... pay 35 to get a glock at a discounted rate?

Yeah, lc action has a glock event every summer and they mark everything down another $25 or so and there are usually promo items there.

Here is the information provided by Glock:

                              GSSF Pistol Purchase Program

In an effort to better serve our members, we've made some changes to our original Pistol Purchase Program. We have greatly expanded the number of participating dealer locations and GSSF Members may purchase one GLOCK pistol per year at a discounted price by showing a current membership
card to that dealer. NO CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED, just your membership card showing current membership in GSSF! New pricing is also in effect. These changes should reduce the waiting periods involved, allow better access to our participating dealers and eliminate most transfer fees while
making the entire process more convenient for our members.

                              Member Responsibilities

                              1. Member contacts GLOCK for local dealer information (770-432-1202), then calls the dealer to be sure they are participating in the program and that the dealer has the model they want to purchase in stock.

                              2. Member takes (current) membership card to dealer along with any other required documents. If you have lost your card, you must contact GSSF to receive a replacement card. New members will need to wait to receive new member packet with membership card.

                              3. Member is responsible for any taxes or fees as is required by the local, state, and federal laws.

                              4. Must meet all local, state and federal laws to purchase a pistol.

                              5. You may only purchase 1 GLOCK per year.

You are eligible to shoot in GSSF matches.
