Am I crazy for preferring bigger grip sizes?

Not crazy for shooting what's comfortable. If the glock fits in your hand better, shoot the glock.

You can also look into replacement grips from any number of manufacturers (hogue is probably the most well known) to increase the size of a gun's grip. You can either completely replace the factory grip panels, or use one of the slide-on grip enhancements.

I've got short stubby fingers, so I can't exactly say I share your prefferance. The grips on my Glock as as big I can handle. Even then I have to readjust my grip during the manual of arms for magazine changes.
