If you're in the North Bay, I can fix it for you. All you need is the spring (not sure if I have any in my parts box).
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Where in the Bay Area are you located? LC action in San Jose sells just about every part short of a frame for Glocks and there is always a "certified" glock armorer working. Last I checked Target Masters sold parts also.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the parts and will try to install them myself. If that doesn't work out, I'll pay a visit to one of the 'smiths.

Wow, I guess there's a first time for everything! What's the round count on the pistol?

Springs break. Its a Glock, go buy one and put it in yourself. Glock's a really easy to fix and its good knowledge to have. Just pay attention as you take it apart so you and reverse the process as you reassemble it. Look one line for disassembly instructions which will basically say, take the top end off, push out all the pins, you'll learn the method for the trigger pin, and lift out the trigger assembly and ejector housing. Swing the trigger bar out of the ejector housing, take the spring off, put the new one on. Swing the trigger bar back in and reassemble.

Once you taken one apart a few times you'll wonder why there are Glock "certified" armors.
              where are my pistol mags?

One thing you need to learn about Glock gun smithing...there is NO such thing.

That's why they're called Glock Armorers, they just replace parts. Go on Youtube to detail strip a Glock. Remeber if you're using a lot of force taking a part a Glock, then you're doing it wrong.

As for the trigger spring, remember that it an "S" shape so just replace it the way you see it when taking it apart. Most likely the top part of the spring broke. That's really the only part that needs replacing on a Glock. I've replace a lot on G21s, but my Glock Fotays have yet to need any replacement part.
