I have both 9 and 40 in the D version, great guns. They are well balanced and short enough for carry.

that was my first gun. i bought it in 1992 after saving up for about 8 months then sold it in 2002 -- like an idiot. i've regretted it ever since. you never forget your first love, ya know?

either way, they were great guns, and if i could find one today that hadn't been abused i wouldn't hesitate to get one again.

            Former Beretta 92FS Centurion here...

I like the shorter barrel. Subjectively, it feels more balanced than the standard barrel 92FS. My personal issue is the grip size. It just feels too big for me (same as with the standard 92FS). Reliability and accuracy is superb.

If you find one, its a keeper.

Like new, here in Calif, $500-600, with box and papers maybe up to $650 but at that price it should have a couple of mag rebuild kits with it. I have 4 Centurions they are by far may favorite Berettas.

"Anyone has experience with 92FS Beretta Centurion?"

To answer your OP, I have at least 10,000rds thru my early Centurion. Never missed a beat. Never.

Keep it clean & well lubed (rails) & it will outlive us both!

Aren't they off-list? The Beretta 92 Compact (same size) is still on list, IIRC.
In other words, you might have a heck of a time finding one for a PPT...

Last one I saw for sale was SummitGunBroker in Missouri - he had some LEO trade-in's..... But no more.

                          Good luck...

Yes they are off-list, so if he has found one in CA but decides he doesn't want, there are some of us there that are interested.

The 92 compact doesn't interest me because of the lack of mag compatibility.

92FS was my first pistol. I have countless thousands of rounds through it. It was my concealed carry firearms for 5 years. It has been nothing but joy.
