Desert Eagle Values

I am looking to sell a Desert Eagle i picked up in trade. Just not my type of gun. I want to sell it for a reasonable price but dont want to give it away.
It is a 1991 Mark VII 44 Mag, Nickel plated. Very Mint condition. By the looks of it I would say less then 100 rounds fired if that. Comes with 2 clips, one is matching in stainless, no scuffs or scratches. Original gray box plus extra spring kit new and holster. What should i ask for it? I have a family emergency I need to pay for. Thanks

I'd guess you'd be able to get at least a grand for it. Not sure if the older ones are higher in value though.

The Mark VII's aren't worth quite as much as the Mark XIX's, but you're probably still looking at about a grand, give or take a couple hundred. The nickel plated ones usually go for a bit more than average.

That example is nice. Might have to ask less to sell mine. I was hoping it had a little more value. Mine has very little use so maybe someone will want it. I personally like that brushed chrome more then the Nickel. Maybe someone will want the Nickel. Thanks for the info.

Wow, I think that was a good deal. DE mags are pricey.

Depends on condition. I have seen them from $700-$1100.

The msrp for a brand new .44 mark VII from Magnum Research is $1049. That's for the black model - not the nickel, but it's new. The VII isn't convertable to other calibers like the mark XIX is either thus, it isn't worth as much. I've seen XIX models on sale in here for $1000 - you're probably looking at $700-$900 IMO.
