Utah CCW Permits?

I've heard some rumors on the, uh, internets, that Utah CCW permits are recognized in California. I've also heard that there are some Utah CCW classes/registrations in California. Is this true? Can I get one even if I'm a California resident? Thanks for all answers in advance.

Nope. Refer to packing.org

I suspose some people get UT CCWs, because many other states recognize UT CCWs. Also soem people believe if they have a UT CCW when they apply for a CA CCW it will make them look better...

utah permits are no good here but there are many places that offer the required classes for CA residents who want to get a UT CCW. I just took the class and got the stamp on my App, going to get the fingerprints done this weekend then off it goes!
