    45 acp ammo question

If I have a full size and sub compact 3" barrel 1911 (para warthog) is it ok to shoot 200g rounds? im only shooting at paper and I heard the 200g bullets have less recoil then the 230g ammo. I am going to start reloading my own rounds too. Im going to be using only lead too, no FMJ till the price drops or i find a really good deal.

✟ In the beginning was the 1911, and the 1911 was THE pistol, and it was good. And behold the Lord said, "Thou shalt not muck with my disciple John's design for it is good and it workith. For John made the 1911, and lo all of his weapons, from the designs which I, the Lord, gave him upon the mountain."✟

Yes 200 gr. ammo is perfectly fine to shoot and reload for, though the recoil thing is way too subjective to tell. Going down in weight usually gives me snappier felt recoil.
