Ive been searching for this handgun for ages, and I come to find that its recently been taken off the list of approved CA handguns in Dec of 2009...

is there any way to get an exception? or am I limited to finding one here locally/PPT??

It's a great gun - I have one in 9mm and love it! Keep your eyes on the "firearms for sale" forum and they come up occasionally. And yeah, your only option is a PPT or go for the intrafamilial transfer from someone out of state.

Just sold one in .45 recently. Awesome gun but I needed the cash and had a buyer with cash in hand, so I had to sell it.
