Building a 1911

So, i have come across a box of 1911 internals. I have all i need for a gun, except the receiver. Are my chances really this dismal?
If I'm correct, i can only buy one from another CA resident, or work with an 80% receiver? I can't buy one from a dealer, and i can't go to reno and get one, so are there any other options?

intrafamilial transfer if you have family (up and down the family tree of course) out of state, ppt with another CA resident, 80% receiver, or single shot it. i think that's all the different ways to get a 1911 frame in CA.
