Thinking about getting a used Glock 19. HELP ME!

Went shooting today and I shoot best with my Glock Fotays, I'll probably keep my G17Gen4 as a safe queen.

Actually all of them do now because either way even if the shop didn't know of the price change that started in April to get the old price you had to have the old certificate, which GSSF stop issuing mid Feb. The new system which I am sure all stores participating know about only requires your GSSF membership. LC Action was trying to charge people the higher price before the April 1st deadline even when customers had the old certificate. You might be lucky if you happen to have an old certificate but I doubt that since there were only issued for two months.

But back on subject. $350 is not a bad price for a used Glock. Used Glocks rarely drop below the $300 mark especially in CA so as long as it is in good shape it is a decent deal. That being said for $425 if you are already a GSSF member you can get a new one. If you are not a GSSF member its only $35 more and it is well worth it even w/o the discount because of the awesome noob friendly matches they have. I attended one match and won a 2 year renewal of my membership. I didn't account for the DROS and Tax because either way you have to pay that.

Most reputable guns stores are not going to let a defective gun be sold in their store. To many liabilities involved. Besides it is a Glock, anything wrong with it and the company will fix it. Glock has a good rep for taking care of their product line and their customers. I think $350.00 is a fair deal.

i believe $350.00 is not a bad price; they can be had for cheaper but not usually at a local, over the counter gun shop. i have seen tattered examples for that price at over the counter shops. if this gun is truly in excellent condition... that's not too shabby....

If you have a Glock 22 you can just get a 9mm drop in conversion barrel for around $120 and some glock 19 mags and you are good to go. But having another Glock is never a bad thing.

I just paid more for an older 1989 near new Gen2 19. but I wanted a gen 2 only so I was willing to pay a premium for it. The Gen2 G19 fits my hand best!

If you don't need a Gen 2 then get a new one. My Gen 2 has to go back to glock for the upgrade that never got done on it... Free. but still It has to be shipped.
