Sig Sauer P232 Magazine Help!

Ok so i just picked up my brand new piece today. Looks great. heres the problem. My magazines are not accepting my ammo.......The first round fits just fine, then when i insert a 2nd round, it jams and does not fit. I called up gun emporium and they are going to send me out 2 new magazines. But the thing was i noticed BOTH my magazines had the same problem. My brother noticed these dents near there top of feeder, and it was made by the manufacture (sig). I looked on the internet and the magazines had no dents in them. Is this a new design or safety feature? defect?

Excuse me if this comes off as crass, but you know it is 9mm Kurz, AKA .380ACP, not 9mm luger, right?

Was just wondering if anyone else has that little indent in their new sig mags?

I have both P230/232 and no my mags don't have that little indent. Thanks for letting us know that the newer SIG mags have issues. I was giving serious thought to picking up a newer generation P232.

Yeah, hope they fix this issue and send me some working mags. I have no clue why that indent is even there

Probably jumping the gun on ammo restriction would be my guess.

It just dawned on me, are your mags factory SIG or mecgar?

Now that's strange! Usually it's the other way around, non oem mags have issues.

I feel your pain, I've been blessed with my SIG factory mags.

I have a P232 that I bought about 6 months ago. It's a nice shooting gun. I love it. I hope the new mags fix the problem.

Yeah. Kind of dissatisfied with gun emporium right now. I'm very eager to shoot my new gun and I can't. Now they just emailed me saying that Sig Sauer, is out of magazines.........So they want me to send in my magazines so their gunsmith can work on it and send it back.....Can they really be backordered on p232 mags?
