    What does ''no dash'' mean?

Each time that there is a revision made to a particular model, it gets a number 'dashed' to it. The first run for instance would be a Model 18, the first revision of that model would become Model 18-1, second revision Model 18-2 and so on.

At least that's the way it was explained to me long ago.

Well he accepted my offer now what gear do I need to get for it. He didn't have the box or anything else it came with.

Can you guys recommend a good soft case to store it in so the finish doesn't get ruined. What else should I get for it? This is my first revolver and I want to keep it in the same condition.

I took this beautiful Smith to my buddy and forum member alex45auto so he could check it out. He works on S&W's on his free time and he's very good at. He did a trigger job for me and now the double action is very smooth and crisp. I was hitting nickel size groups at 20 yards. If you have a S&W you want worked on PM him. Thanks again Alex
