SW 1911 ....milspec or GI models?

These are beautiful pistols, but do they have a GI or milspec model? Looks like an entry level SW starts close to $1000. Way out of my budget.

I don't think so. The S&W are semicustoms (beavertail grip safety, Novak sites, possibly extended safety(es) and FLGR). Also, more importantly, their pistol has external extractor.

Possibly, the closest that you can find for GI or milspec would be Springfield or RIA.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
